Manifest: Abstraction from Observation and Sunday Cast Drawing

Every Sunday afternoon Manifest opens its doors for drawing from the vast collection of casts.
It has been a great way to refine working from the figure... without the live model.

Abstraction from Observation has been something I have been working on this winter.
Enjoyed revisiting the works of Annie and Josef Albers.

Working in pastels... experimenting with different color combinations.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday evening Manifest Drawing Center has an open studio session with a live model.

The year started with a trip out west. 

Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Colorado. 

New Year's celebration in Denver with the family.
